Scholar Hoops Camp (Age 14-17)

A 5 day basketball camp focused on providing athletes with tools and knowledge to be an effective basketball player while making amazing memories that will last a lifetime! The camp will run July 8th - July 12th from 9:00AM - 3:00PM daily at Bishop O’Byrne High School. The camp costs $300, or $275 each, if you register family members. Once you register, you will get an email regarding where to make the payment as well as additional information about the camp. Scholar Hoops is run by myself, Nate Petrone, a Calgary born and raised kid with a great passion for basketball and developing the future of the game in Calgary! This past year I was awarded a First Team All-Canadian award for USPORTS which means I was a top 5 player across Canadian universities, and was drafted to the CEBL (so hopefully you trust that I know my stuff). My camp differs from others as I will not be making your kid dribble around chairs and play tag for 6 hours. Myself, and the other high level university players/coaches will be focused on individual skill development, as well as game-like scenarios that will allow them to read and react. With this age group we will also be spending some time in the weight room. Basketball is an incredibly enjoyable game and my number 1 goal is to have the kids love every minute of the camp and walk away a better basketball player and teammate!!
