U 13 Better to Best Hockey Program August 25 to August 29
This is a week-long hockey camp. Offering two on-ice sessions a day with 1.5 hours of dryland training a day, as well as 1 hour of classroom time to go over game theory and sport psychology. This is a high-paced camp teaching the skills needed to excel at the game of hockey. We have a strong focus on skating. If you can't skate, you can't play. We also teach puck handling, passing, and shooting.
This year, our dryland sessions will include a comprehensive and structured exercise program tailored to individual ages and levels. Working on aspects like reactive agility, explosive strength, and overall athletic performance, which will properly prepare players for the high-intensity demands of tryout season. We will also utilize one day of off-ice training for testing athletes' speed, agility, strength, and general conditioning.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic Hockey Camp preparing your young player for a great start to a new hockey season. August 25th through August 29th, Monday to Friday.
Dates and Locations are as follows, but the daily schedule is the same throughout Monday to Friday.
All Dates are at Millwoods Arena
Daily Schedule:
Classroom 9:30am to 10:30am.
First Ice time power skating 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Lunch 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm.
Dryland 1:00 pm 2:30 pm.
On ice Skills Session 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm.
PICK UP 4:45 pm.
This is FULL day program, snacks are not provided, but encouraged to be brought, lunch is a bag lunch brought by the player. We provide a camp Jersey with registration. WATER BOTTLES ARE NEEDED, along with proper dryland training attire.
