Fall League · Girls 3x3 · Grades 1/2

Ten weeks of training and real games with coaching built into every one of them, so your child plays constantly and finishes the season more capable and more confident.

🔥 Limited space — only 24 players in this group. These sell out. Sign up to secure your spot.

More touches. More shots. More progress. Every player is in the action the whole time — a ton of touch time and court time, and nobody standing around waiting for a turn.

📋 The Details

  • Who: Girls grades 1–2

  • Format: 3x3

  • Team size: capped at 6 players per team

  • Plays: Saturdays, 2:00 – 3:30 PM, every week

  • Length: 10 weeks

  • The full schedule is up front: 10 events over 10 weeks, and every date is on the registration page before you sign up. Each night is the whole thing together — training, real games and the Confidence, Leadership & Basketball IQ workshop

  • Cost: $450 for the season, payment plans on request

  • Where: HoopLife Facility, 661 Solomon Cres, Regina, SK — same time, same place, every week: no travel, no rescheduling, no guessing

  • Teams: formed during the program by your head coach, so there is no separate evaluation to attend

  • All levels welcome: players are grouped by age and ability

🏀 A Night at the League

  • First 30 minutes: on-court training on the must-have skills, with direct feedback and one-on-one coaching for every player

  • Then a round robin every night: every team is guaranteed at least two games

  • Real games with a proper clock and score every week, with their coaches right there on the floor teaching as they play

  • Lots of reps, lots of games, lots of action — every mistake gets coached in the moment it happens

  • Every night finishes with the Confidence, Leadership & Basketball IQ workshop, each team under their own hoop with their own coach

  • Players, refs and coaches are all here for the same reason: to get better and build a community doing it

📈 What You Can Expect

  • Understanding the rules and playing the game properly

  • Dribbling up the floor calmly, with their head up

  • Wanting the ball and taking the shot

  • Walking into a gym and joining straight in

  • Shaking off a mistake and going again

❓ Why 3x3 at This Age

3x3 is the single greatest tool there is for a young player to learn how to actually play the game, and it is why every division from grade 1 to grade 4 plays it.

  • Far more touches. Three a side puts your child in every possession — up to 60% more touches than a 5-on-5 game, and far more real decisions every minute they are on the floor

  • Nowhere to hide. Nobody stands in the corner waiting for a turn: every player handles the ball, shoots and defends in every game

  • A game they can read. The court is open, so there is room to see the play, react and decide — the part of basketball that only live play can teach

  • The game makes sense sooner. Fewer players means a simpler game, so a young player picks up spacing, positioning and what to do without the ball far earlier

  • Coaching lands in the moment. With six players on the floor their coach sees everything, so a habit gets corrected as it happens instead of a week later

This is how a young player builds real skill and real confidence. We run these grades as 3x3 by choice, not by shrinking a 5-on-5 game down to fit them.

🗣️ Coaching

The HoopLife coaching staff is on the floor with your child the whole time — in the drills, on the bench, in the breaks. They are trained, they coach here every week, and they know what to do with a player at every level. Habits get corrected in the moment, and every kid is known by name.

💬 What They Take Home

Every week has a Confidence, Leadership & Basketball IQ workshop with their own coach. Speaking up, handling pressure, taking feedback and using it, and leading the people around them, plus real breakdowns of the game itself — concepts pulled apart until they make sense, so your player leaves a smarter basketball player as well as a more confident kid. That is the confidence that shows up at school and everywhere after it.

🔁 Train Year-Round

The players who take the biggest jump in a season are the ones training between games. Our weekly sessions run every week of the year — HoopLife Skills Training, Girls Only Sessions and 3x3 Basketball Sessions — so your player can be in the gym this week and walk into game one ready. Nothing to try out for and no season to wait for.

See the times: the session schedule shows every weekly session by age group, all year.

Get in this week: grab a Session Pack or a Membership and book any weekly session.

💛 Help With the Cost

We never want the season fee to be the reason a child misses out on basketball. If paying it would be a real strain on your family right now, there is funding support available, and we will do what we can to help.
