What your kids will learn:

Shooting 🏀  is one of the most essential basketball skills because it helps determine the outcomes of games. Becoming a well-rounded shooter causes the defense to have to cover more ground which creates more opportunity for team success. Every successful possession ends in a shot and being able to become a threat from anywhere on the court can help increase your time on the court!

Dribbling  ⛹🏽‍♂️ is used to create space to get an easy bucket for you or a teammate. There are several techniques that can help you create distance from your opponent but the main goal of being a ball handler is to protect the basketball and provide opportunities that best help your team.

Defence 🏅 puts great pressure on the opponent’s offensive game plan. Breaking their offensive systems can result in a higher turnover rate, resulting in an increased amount of offensive possessions. Being able to shut down the opponent’s best player can be the difference between winning and losing.

Physical Endurance 🏃🏼‍♀️ is important as it minimizes the amount of muscle fatigue allowing for longer and more effective shifts of play. Basketball is a sport in which you are frequently running up and down the court. Even in half-court play, there is constant action.

Basketball IQ 📚 is the ability to just instinctively play the game and adapt to any situation. Knowing how to put the right play in motion, at the right time, is a skill that many players don’t possess. It combines a blend of technical skill, game awareness and understanding, plus experience. Basketball IQ is something that may not put points on the scoreboard or improve individual on-paper stats but it does directly affect the game and can help your team win. This is especially important when playing at a high level.

Mindset Development 🧠 is the most crucial way to find success in basketball. You can work extremely hard on your handle, jump shot, etc. but if you don’t work to create useful strategies to change your mindset in challenging situations then you are limiting your full basketball potential. You are putting a ceiling on how high you can go as a player and how good you can become. Mental skills are just as important as physical skills!

Officiated daily scrimmages splitting players into teams ensuring even amount of play for all players.

Here’s what attendees have to say:

"Decklynn loved the camp and the coaches. She really liked having the opportunity to ask questions on how she can improve. She had so much fun and really looked forward to going back each day. " -Stacie Kissel

"Joey loved his time at the camp! The coaches were great and encouraging and kept it fun!" -Alexis Schmidt

"Very friendly staff who proactively talked to kids and parents with a smile. Very welcoming. That kind of customer treatment will ensure positive word of mouth reviews and make us want to come back for future services. I was very impressed with the small things like welcoming kids in and waving parents in even though we were 20 minutes early. Not a lot of businesses do that anymore and it was noticed and appreciated. " -Tyler Welder
