Churchill River Men's Canoe & Fishing Retreat

Experience the outdoors alongside Cody Hickle for 8 days (Aug 1-9) on the beautiful Churchill River on the Elevate Men’s Canoe & Fishing Retreat. This year, the trip will head to Nistowiak Falls from Stanley Mission Sk. A 12km paddle will take the group to their first basecamp where they will stay a few nights before relocating to experience both what packing & moving camp is like on larger canoe trips, and to adapt to a different type of camp setting. The trip will feature viewing Saskatchewan's largest Rapid, an abandoned Uranium Mine, opportunity to shoot some rapids, beach location, lots of fishing, ect.

From day to day, campers can enjoy relaxing by the fire, fishing at their leisure, reading a book, or filling the abundant time with what recharges them. Through the week participants will help with a variety of chores like cooking & cleaning, campsite care, stocking firewood, ect.

Elevate Sports Ministries is an Evangelical Christian organization & this trip will include daily devotionals, testimonies, and campfire songs. 

August 1: Participants will travel to Stanley Mission. If we can be on the water by 5:00 PM & have good weather we will launch. Aug 8: we will break camp and head to Waldhiem Sk where we will enjoy a night of hot tubbing at Rob Rudds. Aug 9: Everyone will travel home.

Q- What do I bring? You will receive a detailed list after your registered.

Q- How do I get there? Transportation will follow a direct route from Swift Current to Stanley Mission. You may arrange to join the van in Swift Current, Rose Town or Saskatoon. You may also transport yourself to Stanley Mission.
