This camp was a hit the last couple years so it is back again for 2024!  This is a favorite amongst our players, as it’s fun and competitive!

This specialty camp is a must for all U9 - U 13 aged players.

It is designed to ensure that players learn the skills and the tricks to winning battles all over the ice.  Every play in hockey is a potential battle, being the first to the puck, coming out of the corner with the puck, using your stick appropriately to create space or to take it away from an opponent.

Contact is a necessary part of the game and in this camp we work with players of all ages on their hockey ready position, so they have a stronger base, are stronger on the puck and ultimately have a better chance at winning battles all over the ice.  The players will learn to welcome contact and work through it when out dueling the opposition.

This camp is a mix of 1 on 1 battle drills & competition drills, all structured to enhance the competitiveness of your player.  Batlle skills are necessary to succeed in hockey!

For younger players, this camp prepares them for the inevitable contact in the game and will prepare them better when body checking  becomes part of the game at U15. Contact confidence is an important step in their growth towards bodychecking per Hockey Canada’s body checking pyramid.
